Over 36 hours of instruction, about half in the classroom.

A one-week, short course covering all aspects of a breeding facility. Maximum class size is twelve. Stallion and Mare Management. Collecting, evaluating, and shipping semen. Mare management including use of hormonal drugs, understanding anatomy, ultrasound technology, Artificial Insemination, the foaling mare and newborn, and use of equipment needed. The course also covers business management, advertising, taxes, hiring, and much more. Courses offered in February, April, May, and November each year. After the course has been completed, students are encouraged to contact the school anytime about problems they encounter, or about new technology.
